Carl and Loretta, first, hello! My expectations were surpassed in a couple or more areas. 1) While I did expect some on-going communication with you, Carl, through the ordering process etc. I think my conversations with you and your on-going calls, e-mails etc. were more engaging that expected and I appreciated that immensely. 2.) The photographs during the build and the “portraits” after the bike was completed were such a great personal touch and again, something I found over my expectations. 3.) The ability to call and/or contact either of you at any time and get welcoming quick help/answers is such a plus and in your case, more than expected. I like the owner/operator who answers his own phone. 🙂 That’s rare and a very disarming, stress reducing and fun part of doing business with you… oh, and it’s certainly a cut above anyone else in my experience. 4.) The ability to come to Bozeman, to your home and shop to pick up the bike and have a chance to sit with you both in your amazing yard, let our dogs explore that yard, just visit with you like we were people you knew and we were friends more than clients was absolutely over the top and…again, so much appreciated and enjoyable. 5.) And then there is the bike. Wow! First look, it’s a subtle but stunning machine with it’s satin titanium finish and the craftsmanship so evident in the weld quality and aesthetics, a visual statement of quality. Then, ultimately, there is the performance of the bike. One year and over 2,000 miles ridden, this bike is unbelievable in the way it responds, the comfortable yet responsive handling, and riding comfort from a bike that truly fits. We picked up the bike on July 2/3 and a week later I rode it over 400 miles in the Tour de Wyoming and never had any discomfort, no back or arm issues, nothing. It was and is, a dream to ride. The setup was great and I have yet to need anything outside a little tuning on the drivetrain simply due to use and some cable stretch. Wow, I could not have predicted how wonderful this bike is to ride and how well it performs. And lastly, 6.) The entire experience of doing business with you, from the first phone call until we drove home from Bozeman was such a great experience both because you were so generous, available, responsive, friendly, welcoming, willing to educate and offering great insight and guidance to basically a novice buyer, was all so much more than I ever expected. Yes, you exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Unless you just gave me the bike as a gift (joking of course) you couldn’t have done more to meet/exceed my expectations. THANK YOU!
