I was a little overwhelmed when I started the process of finding a custom frame builder. So many reviews and opinions out there, who would I pick? Being a research nut freak, I made a list of 3 builders that I wanted to interview. Carl was first in line. Our conversation was very casual and he answered all of my questions, even the stupid ones. As soon as I hung up the phone I knew that Carl was going to build my frame. Carl is as dedicated to the details as I am, he was very receptive to my picky specifications and he dealt with my overly high ( at times ridiculous ) standards exceptionally well.

The first ride on the frame was nothing short of spectacular, I thought maybe it was just initial excitement from getting a new frame. It wasn’t. Fast forward 2 years and I still get a grin every time I ride this bike. This bike is, hands down, more comfortable than any other bike I have ridden in my 13 years of mountain biking. I could ride this bike all day long and not “pay the price” like I used to on my old bikes. The beautiful welds and craftsmanship continuously turn heads and have sparked many a trail head conversation.

If you are going to spend the time and money on a custom frame, you cannot go wrong with Carl. He will indeed do whatever it takes to make you the frame you want.
