Having had fit issues with every bike I’ve owned I finally got a custom frame and I’m glad I did. The cool confidence that comes from an experienced frame builder was evident in every comment, answer and suggestion that went into the build of this frame, thanks Carl for the wealth of experience you provided.
This bike has everything I wanted; custom dropout for the Rohloff Speedhub and disc mount, 100m travel fork, S and S couplings, and Bushnell EBB.
After a week of riding in Moab Utah, sometimes thirty miles a day, the discomfort I had with previous bikes is gone. I find that I am riding more technical terrain at greater speed and with greater confidence than before.
The components may change, the scenery may change and so may the friends I ride with but the fit of this bike will remain.
