Carl…I think the subject line pretty much sums it up. This bike is exactly what I wanted !! I coined the term “smiff” for how it rides. That’s smooth and stiff all in one. At speeds over small bumps it has the characteristic feel of steel, but when I hit a little jump or small drop on the trail, it feels very stiff. Very snappy and quick in the curvy stuff, and climbs very well. At 31.76 lbs, it’s the lightest MTB that I have ridden in a while, but I don’t feel like I am on a light bike, it’s very solid all around. In addition, the geometry we did will allow me to conform to whatever riding style I might want to do, which is perfect.
