I’m often asked, if I were buying a bike what it would be? So I’ve decided to create a special model that is exactly what I would want if I were buying a bike. “Carl’s Personal Blend” Cyclocross/Dirt Road bikes. Available in steel or titanium, this is my favorite kind of bike. You can mount 23c road tires and road race, group ride and train on them or you can run cross tires and cross race and ride dirt roads paths or trails. With fenders you can ride in the rain making them the perfect year round training bike and they even have room for studded tires which makes them great for year round commuting. They can be built for cantilever brakes, long reach calipers or disc brakes. This configuration is truly the most versatile type of high performance bike you can own.

All specs are chosen to assure they stay true to their concept. They are custom sized and the tube dimensions are picked for each rider. The basic configuration has been selected based on what I consider to be the best blend of tubes and features. I can set them up as either  a pure Cyclocross race bike or a versatile Dirt Road bike.
